Live Oak Engine Company 1 was founded on February 14, 1890. We are one of five Engine Companies along with one Hook, Ladder & Bucket Company and a Rescue Company that comprise the Rockville Centre Fire Department. Our unit is 441 it is a 1998 Pierce Quantum Pumper with a 10 man cab. Our truck also has a mid-mount pump panel. We are located at 103 Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre. Our worknights are Thursday nights starting at 7pm and then we have a Department work detail on Sunday morning from 9am till 12 noon.
